Need for Viscosity Monitoring in Printing Inks
Picture of a Rotogravure Printing Press The quality of printed media is significantly affected by the viscosity of the ink. Poor viscosity control can result in scrap and excessive ink usage and, in some instances, machine damage and downtime. The ViSmart® VS–25xx series of viscosity sensors have the ability to measure fluid viscosity in–situ and are ideally suited for applications that require stringent fluid viscosity control. These sensors have been extensively deployed on a variety of printing machines.
